its economic relevance, from 1996 on it was considered essential to
prepare a specific publication with its own methodological note and

Input-output tables offer a general and at the same
time very disaggregated outlook, from the descriptive-accounting
point of view, of the structure of a determined economy and the
sectorial interrelations that are produced. They are the basis,
in addition, for a multitude of subsequent studies, through the
input-output model, which converts them into an analytical tool
of enormous potential.
