Basque Statistical Yearbook

The basic aim is a general dissemination of the most interesting information produced with regard to the different spheres (economic, educational, social, political, cultural, etc.), of the reality of the Basque Country over the reference period, and at the same time to offer elements of comparison with other territorial areas. The Yearbook is presented in 17 chapters.

Statistics gazette

The first gazette, originally a monthly publication, was launched in January 1990 and published up to 1992. Since 1993 it has been published quarterly. The basic aim of the gazette is the dissemination in one sole publication of the current production carried out by the EUSTAT.

It includes data from: Survey on the Population in Relation to Activity (P.R.A.), Natural Movement of the Population (M.N.P.), Industrial Production Index (I.P.I.), Industrial Price Index (I.P.R.I.), Construction Index (I.C.C.), Construction Costs Index (I.C.C.E.), Domestic Trade Index (I.C.I.), Large Stores Sales Index (IVGS), Survey on Tourist Establishments (E.E.T.R.), Foreign Trade Statistics (ECOMEX), and the Information Society Survey (ESI) Families .

Quarterly since 1993.

Euskadi in figures

This synthesis publication aims to provide a panoramic overview of the demographic, economic and social reality of the A.C. of Euskadi, in comparison with the most advanced countries, mainly those of the European Union. It includes a series of indicators to help the reader get to know some of the most relevant aspects of our position in relation to our European environment.

Municipal indicators

This publication, which coincides with the use of census and/or register information, aims to provide the reader with access to a selection of basic statistical data on a municipal and district level. Clearly the best way to know the A.C. of Euskadi is to start with the municipality in which one lives.

Panorama A.C. of Euskadi

The aim of this publication is to offer a wide range of subjects on the A.C. of Euskadi, in comparison with different countries in the world, giving an overview of our demographic, economic and social reality. Graphs and photographs are included.

Thematic-statistical atlas of the A.C. of Euskadi

The Atlas is above all an attempt to visually understand basic information on our country, to get to know the structure of the territory, the peculiarity and location of the different areas that make up the A.C. of Euskadi, together with contrasting and comparing it with the rest of the State and Europe, where our geostrategic position poses numerous challenges.

Complete collection. Consists of two publications, one including maps and another with statistical tables. Published in four colours and in DIN A3 format.

School edition. Consists of the colour Atlas, two black and white folders, one with maps and the other with tables and the manual of teaching notes. This material is prepared for educational activities using the teaching notes. The folders contain photocopiable maps and may be distributed among pupils.

Statistical Atlas of the Pyrenees

For the first time, within the framework of cross-border cooperation, several statistics offices from both sides of the Pyrenees have published a statistical atlas of the region. Although incomplete, this first exercise enables a statistical focus on the Pyrenees: 49.850 km2 of area, i.e. 1,101,000 inhabitants, 617,000 households among which 167,000 are second homes; 45,000 jobs in agriculture, 108,000 in industry, 40,000 in construction, 205,000 in the tertiary sector, 92,000 non-agricultural establishment and over 5.8 million tourists, are some of the data that can be found in this document.

Report by the Basque Statistics Council

Article 32 of the internal operating regulations of the Basque Statistics Council establishes that each year this institution shall prepare a comprehensive Report on its activity. This includes the Council's precepts and the list of Bodies and people represented, as well as a list of the operations compeleted each year and those that are still being executed or are due to be initiated shortly.
