These annual statistics offer a regularly updated view of the foundation and charitable association sector in the Basque Country; documenting the number of foundations and charitable associations, active units classified by area of activity, target population, level and type of employment, distribution in the region, funding, capital, assets, income and expenses.
They aim to measure and analyse the main macroeconomic magnitudes in economic and employment terms in order to facilitate homogeneous trend studies and place the sector in the framework of the so-called social economy and in the broader setting of the total economy of the Basque Country.
