The main sources of information for the Foreign Trade Price Index operation (IVU) is the Sole Administrative Document (D.U.A.) and the statistical data collection system for the exchange of goods between member states of the European Union (INTRASTAT).
The operation developes Unit Value Indexes (IVU) as the prices of, rather more or less, uniform sets of classes of goods, in order to measure import and export price trends of the Basque Country.
