Among the prices of the most relevant raw materials consumed by the sector that have risen most in price over the whole of the last twelve months are Electric energy (23.5%), Iron and steel (18.0%), Metal piping (15.2%), Glass (12.7%) and Artificial Cement (5.1%). In addition there were reductions or lower increases in inter-annual prices (November 2006 on November 2005) of the raw materials for Oil by-products (-3.8%), Asphalt products (-1.0%), Ceramic products (-1.0%), Worked Stone (0.3%), Lime, gypsum and plaster (0.6%) and Timber and cork (0.9%).
