Classification of the centre according to provision of accommodation, meals and/or other types of services:

  • Hostel: Charitable establishment where individuals in need are provisionally accommodated. They are low-demand centres.
  • Home: A house where individuals live together, abiding by certain regulations
  • Shelter: hostel or residence dedicated to providing a service and shelter to individuals
  • Flat: a group of rooms that constitute an independent dwelling in a house with various floors
  • Social Dining Halls: Establishment dedicated to providing food free of charge, or at a reduced cost, to individuals in need. If the demand is high, there can be various sittings.
  • Day care centre: Centres attending to homeless individuals, which do not provide accommodation or meals
