Methodological note. EIS: Knowledge-intensive services exports as % of total services exports

The indicator measures the competitiveness of the knowledge-intensive services sector. The indicator reflects the ability of an economy, notably resulting from innovation, to export services with high levels of value added, and successfully take part in knowledge-intensive global value chains.

The indicator is obtained as a quotient.
