ROGER PAN THAN LUU
Roger Pan Than Luu is a lecturer at the University of Aix Marseille III and
Director of the Methodology Laboratory of Environmental Research of Marseilles.
A chemist by training (Chemical Thesis 1967), he managed the Information
Technology Department of the I.U.T. of Aix en Provence from 1972 to 1982. During this period he
also set up the Methodology of Experimental Research and directed the only laboratory in France
to specialise in this field. Having set up an integral teaching programme in this subject, he is
much solicited by universities and industries both in France and abroad.
KARL G. JÖRESKOG
Karl G. Jöreskog is a lecturer in Multivariant Statistical Analysis at the
University of Uppsala (Sweden), he is ex-president of the Psychometrics Society, member of the
American Statistical Association, honorary member of the Royal Statistical Society and member of
the Swedish Royal Academy of Sciences.
Karl G. Jöreskog has had several books published as well as numerous articles
on the theory and applications of factorial analysis, co-variance structural analysis and
structural equation models.
Together with Professor Dag Sörbom he developed the LISREL model and the
computer programmes PRELIS and LISREL, which are widely used in experimental research in the
field of social sciences and behaviour.
