CAMILO DAGUM
Camilo Dagum is a Doctor in Economic Science by the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba
(Argentina), Doctor Honoris Causa by the University of Bologna (Italy) and by the Universidad Nacional de
Córdoba, and Medal of the College of France.
Author of books on Econometrics, Economics, Economic Statistics and Income Distribution, she
has written over 100 articles, published in several languages, in specialised magazines such as
Metron, Journal of Econometrics, etc.
She has been a lecturer at the Universities of Córdoba, Iowa, Mexico, París and Ottawa,
research lecturer at the University of Rome, the London School of Economics and the College of
France, as well as guest lecturer at the University of Milan.
She has contributed to the theory and models of wealth distribution, measuring
inequalities, etc. She has taken part in numerous international congresses, guest speaker for
universities in Europe, Asia, Australia and North and South America.
She is an advisor to international, national and private institutions and an ordinary
member of the International Statistics Institute and the International Sociology Institute.
VICENTE ANTON VALERO
Vicente Antón Valero, graduated in Economic Science (Quantitative Economics) at the
Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, won a Diploma in Statistics at the Universidad Complutense de
Madrid and is Facultative Statistician (National Accounting) at the National Statistics
Institute (Instituto Nacional de Estadística, I.N.E).
Author of articles published in several languages on Economy, Economic Statistics,
National and Regional Accounting, Input-Output Tables, etc.
He has collaborated on the econometric model HISPAI-Model at the Economics Faculty
of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He has been a lecturer at the Departments of Econometrics
and Statistics and Operative Research for the said Economic Science Faculty of the Universidad
Autónoma de Madrid.
He is currently teaching a course on "An Introduction to National Accounting-Introducción
a la Contabilidad Nacional" within the technical co-operation programmes of the General
Office of International Technical Co-operation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In May 1991, as Deputy General Director of National Accounts, he left the I.N.E.
to join the Ministry of the Economy and Treasury
At present, he is Deputy General Director of Sectorial Planning in the General
Planning Office of the Ministry of the Economy and Treasury
In 1990 he became a permanent member of the GDP Management Committee in EUROSTAT.
LEOPOLD GRANQUIST
Leopold Granquist is employed at Statistics Sweden since August 1964 at Statistical
Methods Unit of the Research and Development Department. During 1983-1989 Head of the Statistical
Methods Group of the Department of Economic Statistics. Since August 1989, Senior Statistician
at Statistical Methods Unit of the Research and Development Department and project leader of the
Data Editing Project. Since 1990 Deputy Head of the Statistical Methods Unit. Most of the
research and development work has been devoted to data editing issues.
