This five-year survey seeks to establish the behaviour and attitudes of the road users, irrespective of whether they are pedestrians, drivers, passengers or users of public transport). This survey is used to adapt the infrastructures, avoid traffic congestion, guarantee road safety and help road users to behave in a civic-minded way, and to establish the main lines of action to develop plans and programmes aimed at improving road safety.
