The Personal and family income statistics operation calculates the income of people aged 18 or over resident in the Basque Country and produces figures such as gross per capita income or average personal income; it forms the base for knowledge of the distribution of individual and family wealth, using taxation data, linked to census variables of the population. Average Family Income in relation to the characteristics of the main wage-earner provides information of interest with regard to the distribution of poverty and wealth in families.
