International Standard Classification of Education 2011 (Coding of broad groups and fields of education)

The International Standard Classification of Education (ISCED) is a framework that enables standardized reporting of a wide range of policy-relevant education statistics according to a set of internationally agreed common definitions and concepts, ensuring comparability between indicator countries. The ISCED is a reference classification that allows educational programs and their respective certifications to be ordered by levels of education and fields of education. The CINEF classifies the fields of education and training.
