By sector, bearing in mind the classification of the major industrial sectors according to the economic destination of goods produced, the evolution of the index for October 2005 with regard to October 2004 shows the following variations: the highest inter-annual growth rate corresponded to Energy (8.3%), followed by Capital goods (5.2%) and Intermediate goods (1.0%). Consumer goods decreased by 3.7% overall, with a 3.2% fall for Consumer Durables and one of 4.0% for Consumer non-Durables, in relation to their position from a year before.
