Agriculture and livestock
Farmer: Any natural or legal person who carried out agricultural activities.
Agricultural holding: The collective goods and rights organised by the holder – a natural or legal person – in the exercise of the agricultural activity, primarily for market purposes and which in itself constitutes a technical and economic unit.
Actual agricultural and livestock tasks: Those tasks directly related to agriculture and livestock.
Accounts: The accounts of the agricultural holding.
Management: Economic decision making on the agricultural holding, management duties.
Relationships with cooperatives, management centres, OCAs, etc. : In charge of relationships with cooperatives, management centres and county farming offices (OCAs).
Marketing: In charge of marketing agricultural products.
Transformation: In charge of transformation processes involving agricultural products.
Owner of the holding: The natural or legal person who carries out the agricultural activity and additionally organises the assets and rights of the holding with business criteria and assuming the risks and responsibilities that may arise from the management of the holding. When the ownership of the holding is shared by several individuals, each one of them will be considered co-owner of the holding.
