The Origin Table shows the supply of goods and services, i.e. existing resources in the economy, disaggregated by product and type of supplier. The table is divided into two matrices according to the origin of the supplier: Production Matrix. if the supplier is a branch of domestic economic activity, and Import Matrix if it has been acquired by an overseas supplier.

The Production Matrix has a structure of 105 rows representing the 105 groups of products (goods and services) supplied in the economic territory of the Basque Country, and 89 columns representing the 89 branches into which economic activity in the Basque Country has been divided.

The Import Matrix has a structure of 105 rows representing the 105 products supplied in the economic territory of the Basque Country but which were not produced domestically, and 3 columns that show supply by origin of the supplier: Rest of Spain, European Union and Rest of the World.
