Personnel (Social services)

a) By qualification : the staff employed on 15 December have been classified as follows:
- Management-administrative staff : directors, technicians, administrative workers and assistants.
- Service staff : maintenance, catering – kitchen, cleaning and other services.
- Healthcare staff : doctors, A.T.S., physiotherapists, auxiliary clinic workers, occupational therapists.
- Technical staff : psychometrists, psychologists, pedagogues, social assistants and drug dependency prevention technicians.
- Educational staff : teachers, babycare specialists, monitors, supervisors and managers of special employment centres, socio-cultural events organisers.
- Other staff : those not included in previous categories, amongst which are included minders, hope-helps and others.
- CEE [Special Employment Centre] individual workers/users : people with disability who work in special employment centres for socio-labour insertion.
b) According to contract or labour agreement: personnel are classified in the following manner:
- Employees : group of people who, regardless of the type of contractual relationship established with the company, are carrying out work that is either unpaid or paid with a cash salary (15 December).
  This category does not include people who are hired by another company that is paid for that purpose, even where they provide services directly to the individual users (subcontracted direct service staff).
- Volunteers : group of people who, by their own choice, devote a portion of their time to collaborative work, without any compensation or remuneration pre-established via a contractual relationship. Hence it consists of unpaid voluntary collaboration.
