Maintenance poverty

Refers to a situation of insufficiency of economic resources to face, short term, coverage of basic needs, particularly those related to expenditure on food, housing, clothing and footwear. Households with a high risk of poverty are households that have, in the given reference period, income below the threshholds shown to meet these basic needs.
