Fixed incubators and cots are included as beds, except those destined to the care of normal new born babies.
The following beds are not classified under this heading:
Observation beds in the emergency service.
Beds for accompanying persons and extra beds.
Beds used by the personnel of the centre.
Beds specifically assigned to day hospitals, special examinations, pre-anesthetic induction, dialysis post, etc.
