The R&D activities of the Companies sector are classified according to the principal activity of the company which carry them out.
The classification of origin criteria is the new Classification of Economic Activity (CNAE-09). This basic classification has been divided into 19 activity sectors or branches with the objective of achieving a clearer idea of the specific characteristics of the companies carrying out R&D in the AC of Euskadi, as well as assuring the confidentiality of the data.
