This is the organic amendment obtained from the aerobic and thermophile biological treatment of biodegradable matter collected separately. Organic matter obtained from mechanical biological treatment plants for mixed waste, which is called bio-stabilised matter, is not considered compost. Article 3.y of Law 22/2011.
