Dwelling is understood to apply to all separate and independent structures that, as a result of the manner in which they were built, rebuilt, transformed or adapted, are conceived to be inhabited by individuals and are not entirely destined for other uses, along with those other structures that, whilst not complying with the aforementioned conditions, are effectively and in reality inhabited when the statistic is recorded.
