Emissions per CRF heading

The CRF classification (Common Reporting Format) is the method used to report to the different international authorities on greenhouse gas emissions. Among these authorities, particular mention is made of the European Commission and the United Nations Secretariat for the General Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), within the compliance framework of the Kyoto Protocol. In accordance with this classification, all fuel emissions, regardless of their sector of origin, are included in "heading 1". The sectors included in this classification are: energy; industrial processes; use of solvents or other products; agriculture; waste; and electricity originating from an external source. The information is presented in equivalent thousands of tonnes of CO2, and the indexes Kyoto Base = 100% and 2005 Base = 100%.
