Those individuals who are in paid employment or perform an independent activity and are in work (or maintain a formal link with their job, were absent from work for holidays, illness, conflict at work, technical incidents, etc.)

This is made up of the two following categories:

• Working, even if only at a relative's business (a bar, a shop, a farmhouse etc.)
• Doing any paid job/activity of any kind (sewing, cleaning, private classes etc.), even those considered odd jobs.
