Symbol given to those products which have less impact upon the environment, according to an established set of ecological criteria which allow the environmental repercussions of a product to be evaluated over the length of its life cycle. In theory, any type of product can be awarded this ecological label, except for foodstuffs, drinks and pharmaceutical products.
