Organisational innovation

Organisational innovation consists of the implementing new organisational methods within the internal functioning of the establishment (including knowledge management methods/systems), workplace organisation, or in external relationships that have not been previously used by the establishment. It should be the result of strategic decisions.

It excludes mergers or acquisitions even if they represent an organisational innovation.
