Personnel employed in the trade sector are understood to be the average number of people who provide their services in the company and in the Basque Country in the reference quarter. Employed personnel are those who receive remuneration for their work regardless of the type of contractual relationship established with the company (permanent, temporary, full-time or part-time staff). Owners and family workers who work at least one third of the working day are also considered to be employed personnel. Excluded, however, are staff working on commission.
