The Trade Index is a direct indicator of the evolution of the economic and employment situation of the trade sector in the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country and its historical territories, and measures the behaviour of the two variables on which information is collected: "sales revenue" and "employed personnel". The indices are obtained quarterly in both cases and the results are presented according to Eustat's Classification of Trade and Other Market Services.
