Information and communications equipment -ICT- and computer networks
Group of electronic appliances and annex services that are involved mainly with the personal computer, including communication between computers and services which these intercommunication networks require. The basic items included are:
Computer: PC, laptops or terminals of a large computer.
Company computer networks: local area network (LAN: Local area network) or WAN (WAN: Wide area network)
Mobile telephone: includes other personal communication services (beeper…)
Electronic mail.
Internet.
Intranet: internal communications network based on the same protocol as Internet and enables internal communications to be carried out.
Extranet: protected prolongation of an Intranet that enables external users to have access to certain elements thereof.
Electronic funds transfer, with the aid of a terminal, a phone, a computer and a magnetic band.
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), by Internet or through another means.
