Group of persons aged 15 and over, that whether at home, at work or at the centre of studies or elsewhwere, have connected to the Internet.

From 2000 to 2002 a user was considered to be the population aged 15 and over that had connected at least once to the Internet. From 2003 onwards, to standardize Eurostat statistics, a user is considered to be anyone who connected to the Intenet over the last three months. In addition, from the same date, the same information is also available for the population aged 6 and over.

However, all the series from 2000 onwards are available for users or the popuation aged 15 and over that connected at some time to the Internet.
