Secondary education under the reform (REM)
This is outdated, and used to be part of the ministerial order of 30 September 1983, which authorised the implementation of this type of education.
To access the first stage of this type of education, students needed to have passed the seventh academic year of EGB and must have taken the eighth year. Students who passed the two years of the first stage could access the second stage, as well as the 3rd academic year of the BUP or 2nd grade Vocational Training.
Once the student had completed the 2nd year of REM, they would receive a qualification equivalent to the BUP/COU qualification.
