Bed occupancy rate

Bed occupancy rate

The bed occupancy rate, both for places and for rooms, compares the available accommodation capacity during a reference period to its effective use during the same period. It is defined as the relation between the total number of overnight stays and the number of places offered (or rooms, as applicable) divided by the number of days in the reference month.
