A web page, also known as an Internet page, is an electronic document adapted for the Web. It normally forms part of a website. Its main characteristic is the hyperlinks on a page, which are the foundation of the web.

A web page is mainly composed of information (text and/or multimedia modules) as well as hyperlinks. It may contain or associate style information in order to specify how it should be seen and also embedded applications to make it interactive.
