The main action carried out by the respondent in a given time. If various activities take place at the same time, the respondents themselves decide which is the main one. In the case of simultaneousness, the following serves as an example: where activities related to communication media accompany journeys or physiological needs, the latter are considered main activities and those related to communication media (watching television, listening to the radio etc.) as secondary activities.
