Thermal break

Thermal break

Thermal break is understood to be a type of carpentry that is used to avoid heat escaping. It consists of stopping the interior surface coming into contact with the exterior one, placing an element of low conductivity between them, thus significantly reducing heat loss. In the case of aluminium windows a plastic spacer packed in the aluminium frame making up the window is often used. Among the advantages of a thermal break is the saving of energy and the reduction of condensation.
