The employment rate of a group is the proportioin of persons employed in relation to the population at this age. It is usually expressed as a percentage. In the PRA this rate is calculated for two age groups.
Firstly, the Web in its tables offers the employment rate calculated in relation to the population aged 16 to 64 (on last birthday) such that it is comparable with the definition used by Eurostat.



Secondly, the Data Bank offers an employment rate calculated in relation to the population aged 16 and over (on last birthday).
