Temporary elevation factors

Temporary elevation factors

The temporal elevation factors are applied to each observed expense based on its reference period, in order to obtain an estimate of the expenditure incurred during the study period.

The temporary elevation factors (FET) can be grouped into a single factor, whose formulation is as follows: FET = T/t, where T is the duration of the study period and t is the duration of the respective reference period, both measured in number of days.
