Area of activity (CMT demand)

This refers to the main activity of the enterprise, coded in accordance with the CNAE-93. The areas included in the CMT are as follows:

  • Energy Industry and similar (heavy industry): including sections C, DF, DG, DI, DJ (271 to 274) and E of the CNAE-93.

  • Metal Industry: Includes sections DJ (275 to 297), DL (311 to 335), DM and DN (37) of the CNAE-93.

  • Manufacturing Industry and others: Includes sections DA, DB, DC, DD, DE, DH and DN (except 37) of the CNAE-93.

  • Construction: Includes section F of the CNAE-93.

  • Commerce, catering and repairs: Includes sections G and H of the CNAE-93.

  • Transport and Communication: Includes section I of the CNAE-93.

  • Commercial Services: Includes sections J and K of the CNAE-93.

  • Education and Health: Includes sections M and N of the CNAE-93.

  • Other Services. Administration: Includes sections L, O and Q of the CNAE-93.

    Tables and reports do not include part L of the CNAE-93 corresponding to General Administration. Section P in relation to Domestic Service is also not included.
