TARIC (Integrated European Community Tariff) This is the name given to the Integrated Community Customs tariff, a system which codifies the different goods exchanged between countries within and outside the European Community.

1. Customs tariff section:There are 21 headings of the sections. They are not directly identified with any TARIC digit, but are the groups of the customs tariff chapters.

2. Customs tariff chapter:There are 97 chapters, broken down into sections, and are identified by the two first TARIC digits.
