Date of entry in land registry

Date of entry in land registry

This is the date on which the transfer is entered in the Land Registry.

For all intents and purposes, the date of entry is deemed to be the date of submission for entry, which must be recorded in the entry itself. The entry is made in the Land Registry of the territorial district in which the assets subject to the transfer of rights are located.

The date of entry does not have to match the date of formalisation of the transfer. There is an average delay of 45 days from the date of the deed, an aspect duly controlled in the reports to exclude transactions for which the registration of the deed is outside the time period under consideration at any given time.
