Building (Buildings and premises census 2010)

Any permanent, separate or detached building conceived of as housing or to be used for agricultural, industrial or services ends or, in general, to carry out any economic or social activity. A construction is permanent if it was conceived and built to meet the needs of an indefinite length of time and that, as such, will normally last for over ten years. A building is separate if it is limited by outwalls or dividing walls and is covered by a roof, or a roof is contemplated within a reasonable period ¿buildings under construction-. A building is detached if there is direct access from the street or from public or private land. Independent access refers to it being impossible to access the building from other homes than those that correspond to the main entrance.
