ADSL

ADSL

Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line. Transmission technology belonging to the xDSL family, which allows conventional copper wires, initially used for telephony, to transport data. The difference between ADSL and other DSLs is that the upload and download speeds are not symmetrical, i.e. the download speed is higher than the upload speed.
