4G

4G

The fourth generation of wireless mobile standards. It is the successor to the 2G and 3G families. 4G is completely based on the IP protocol. It is both a system and a network, which is achieved thanks to the convergence between cable and wireless networks. The technology can be used by wireless modems, smartphones and other mobile devices. The main difference with previous generations is the capacity to provide access speeds of over 100 Mbit/s on the move and 1 Gbit/s while stationary, maintaining a highly secure point-to-point quality of service (QoS) that will offer services of any type at any time, in any place, at the lowest possible cost.
