Appointments are considered for each of the professional contacts that any user may hold individually with any member of the outpatient care team.

Total appointments: Sum of all the appointments held by general practitioners, paediatricians and specialists, whether house calls or at the centres, first or successive appointments.

This does not include appointments given by other health personnel, i.e. A.T.S., district nurses, midwives, physiotherapists and psychologists.

Laboratory analyses and X-rays are not included as appointments.
