Non-regulated education

Non-regulated education is education not included in the Official Education System.

In order for education to be classified as significant in the ECPA, it must meet one of the following requirements:

  • Non-regulated education that is 40 hours or more in duration, and which is either directly or indirectly connected to a Job or a Trade and not linked with obtaining an Official Certificate of Proficiency.
  • A Course that is part of the Professional Qualification System of Hobetuz/the Basque Government or the Modular Qualification Catalogue of the Basque and Spanish employment services (LANBIDE/SEPE) depending on its duration, providing the course is not aimed at obtaining an Official Certificate of Proficiency.
