Employment is considered conventional if it fits into any of the following categories with regards to the technology used to perform tasks:

  • Conventional production equipment: Employment in which tasks are performed with conventional machine tools, technologically advanced processes or chains, manual tools or any other type of traditional production equipment: .

  • Conventional administrative employment: Employment in which tasks are performed with traditional administrative tools, typing machines, filing cabinets, design tools and hand-drawn sketches etc. .

  • Other conventional employment: Employment in which tasks are performed with other equipment, instruments, techniques or any other means to carry out work that may be considered traditional.
