Modern employment

Employment is considered modern if it fits into any of the following categories with regards to the technology used to perform tasks:

  • Automated modern production: Employment in which tasks are performed with numerically-controlled machines, automated machining centres or handling systems with a high level of automation, programmable machines or other technically advanced equipment. .

  • Electronic administrative employment: Employment in which tasks are performed with CAD programmes, ICT office tools (work processors, databases, etc.), packages integrating accounting management, financial management, production management and other ICT applications. .

  • Other modern employment: Employment in which tasks are performed with other equipment, instruments, techniques or any other means to carry out work that may be considered modern.
