This is waste generated in home as a result of domestic activities ( RH = Household Waste). Waste similar to that generated by services and industries is also considered domestic waste (RSSI = Similar Waste from Services and Industries) .

Waste generated in homes from electronic and electrical devices, clothes, batteries, accumulators, furniture and household items as well as waste and rubble from minor construction work and home repairs.

Waste from cleaning public highways, green areas, recreation areas and beaches, dead domestic animals and abandoned vehicles is considered domestic waste. Article 3.b of Law 22/2011.
