This indicador measures the monetary input directly related to innovation activities.

The indicator is obtained as a quotient.

Numerator:

Sum of total innovation expenditure for enterprises, in nacional currency and current prices excluding intramural and extramural R&D expenditures.

Denominator:

Total employment in innovative enterprises in all size classes.
