this indicator seeks to establish the ratio between the number of immigrations registered in one year with respect to the population size.

concepts and definitions
this indicator is a quotient per thousand inhabitants by the number of emigrations in a time unit for a determined territorial sphere.
numerator:
number of emigrations registered in the basque country during a year.
immigrations: those migrations from a municipality outside the basque country (cae), and even abroad, to one inside the cae.
denominator:
the average population in the reference year (1 january to 31 december).
the half-year population forecasts are used until the populations are calculated using the last census. therefore, they are likely to be reviewed.
