Objectives
The main objective of the packaging declaration statistics is to verify the degree of compliance with the objectives regarding the recovery and recycling of packaging waste in the Basque Country set out in Royal Decree 252/2006, of 3 March, revising the recycling and recovery objectives established in Law 11/1997, of 24 April, on Packaging and Packaging Waste, and amending the Regulations for its enforcement, approved by Royal Decree 782/1998, of 30 April.

Quantities of packaging waste generated in the Basque Country and recovered or incinerated in waste incineration facilities with energy recovery inside or outside the Member State, disaggregated by the packaging material: Glass, Plastic, Paper and cardboard, Metal, Wood and other.
